Wizards Ready for High Octane Test in Dallas

Sometimes stats get in the way of a good story. On paper the Wizards are ranked 29th in the NBA in points allowed at 106.8 per game and have yet to hold an opponent  to under 100 points in a game this season. To break that string the Wizards will be challenged by a Dallas Mavericks team that is averaging 109.7 points per game this season.

Despite the numbers, the defensive identity the Wizards want to establish was on display during critical stretches of this past weekend's games against the Nets and Thunder.
