Wizards Looking for More Against First Place TorontoPosted on November 22, 2013
As we noted yesterday, the Wizards are showing signs of growth and progress. Winning both nights of back-to-back games in the NBA is difficult and the Wizards did it with wins over the Timberwolves and Cavaliers. The Wizards start another back-to-back set tonight here in Toronto before returning home to play the Knicks on Saturday.
The Wizards' defense has been the backbone of their consecutive victories. John Wall has had 25 assists and only four turnovers the last two games. From the bench, the Wizards need more--only 19 points against the Timberwolves and Cavaliers came from the reserves.
