Wizards Complete New York Sweep with Win in Brooklyn

The Wizards completed their New York sweep with a 113-107 win over the Nets in Brooklyn. Two days earlier it was a 102-101 win over the Knicks in Manhattan. Imagine that, a close game involving the Wizards, and for the second consecutive game Bradley Beal delivered the critical basket.

Beal in his second game back from a stress injury in his right leg finished with 15 points. The win  over the Nets also marked the return of Nene from right foot tendinitis. Nene as heard in the Wizards Report came through with important scores and finished with 17 points in 22 minutes.

The Wizards won the game on the boards with a 51-31 advantage in rebounds. Trevor Booker continues to make a difference and  had 13 of those rebounds. The edge in rebounds led to a 23-3 advantage in second chance points.
