More March madness for Wizards in Los AnglelesPosted on March 22, 2014
It was better than a Hollywood script. It was real. We had fun on the radio and the Wizards defeated the Lakers 117-107. Along with the win, we connected with one of our most loyal listeners.
Rob Embrey, who grew up in McLean, Virginia, listens online to every game from his Los Angeles home and connects like so many of you do with us during the broadcast on Twitter @DJohnsonWTOP and @GCTalks.
Rob brought us Red Vines and Twizzlers licorice and at halftime we had our first ever licorice taste test on Wizards Radio. I remain devoted to Red Vines, while Glenn is solidly in the Twizzlers camp. The licorice debate started during our broadcast from Sacramento.

On to Denver... and remember our radio party!
Another busy night with listeners staying up and tweeting, but the Wizards could not keep up with the scoring in a 116-103 loss to the Trail Blazers. We look back and have audio candy from our last Lakers' game in LA.
