Wizards Moment February 17

We continue with another special edition of Daily Wizdom during the All-Star Break and another look back at a significant moment during the Washington Wizards 2012/2013 season.
On this All-Star Sunday we take you back to early January when things really started to click for the Wizards. After a bad loss in Miami on January 6, the Wizards returned home the next night and stunned the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 101-99 win at Verizon Center. The Wizards then had four days away from game action. It was a time to get focused and get healthy. To that end John Wall made his season debut on January 12 against the Hawks. A win over the Hawks was followed by a convincing 120-91victory against the Magic to close the home stand
The success at home gave the Wizards confidence, but it was not without concern. The Wizards were then faced with a five-game west coast road trip. It was fair to ask if five games in nine days away from home would stunt the progress made over a three-game home winning streak. Even when teams are having good seasons, west coast trip are often challenges.
The Wizards responded with their best west coast road trip in seven years. The Wizards went 2-3, but had chance to win every game.
